FILTERING AND SORTING ::
At the heart of Blockster is filtering and sorting. Create an unlimited number of filter and sort pages. Organize which posts are shown on each page via multiple page-level category inclusion/exclusion settings. Choose between three core layouts for each filter and sort page (masonry, gallery, and listing). Adjust sort parameters, specify which meta data to display, toggle lazy loading, and much more.
When filtering and sorting on Blockster, notice the live-updating URL – ie: hash-tag parameters. This feature enables links to be shared for filter and sort pages that preserve the filtered/sorted state of the page. This feature turns Blocksters filtering and sorting from “oh that’s nice” to “wow(!) that’s really nice and practical.”
EASY & POWERFUL CUSTOMIZATION (via Customizer) ::
Blockster is easy to customize via WordPress’ live customizer. Make changes and see the results instantly. Goodbye clunky preview and save, hello real-time bliss.
MULTIPLE SIDEBAR LAYOUTS & WIDTHS ::
The primary sidebar (navbar) of Blockster has two layout options (classic and compact) and the compact layout has three widths. On the classic layout, filter and sort slideouts are inside of the navbar. On the compact layout, filter and sort slideouts slide out of the navbar. The goal is to provide maximum flexibility while ensuring a pixel-perfect design.
RESPONSIVE TYPOGRAPHY ::
Whether on a desktop, tablet, or phone, Blockster’s typography adapts in sizing, spacing, and vertical rhythm for an optimal reading experience.
RETINA READY ::
Thanks to the power of CSS3 and SVG, Blockster looks and performs great on all high density displays (ie: Blockster is “retina ready”).

Endless hours of thought and tireless work sessions have gone into making Blockster’s user experience as clean, smooth, and intuitive as possible.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS ::

SOURCE SCRIPTS AND STYLES (.styl) INCLUDED (for those who code) ::
All source scripts and styles are included. Scripts are bundled via Browserify and styles are written via the amazing power of Stylus (it’s awesome!). There’s even a simple NPM development and build setup in the theme’s package.json file.
HISTORY ::
Blockster began as a Ghost theme (which is still alive and well, here: http://crtv.mk/bwto) but with development of newer versions we wanted the theme to do more than is current possible via Ghost. For that reason, we decided to port it to WordPress. The WordPress version boast more features, more versatility (like multiple filter and sort pages, each with individual parameters), and is all-around much more powerful (for those wanting/needing it).
